Senior Consultant - Digitization of Land-Based Operations (m/w/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. Senior Consultant - Digitalization of Land-based Operations (m/w/d) from now on and in full time at one of our BWI locations. The area of Customer Solution (CS) Land & Luft is understood as a supporter and driver of the digitization of the Bundeswehr in the dimensions of land and air. Our area supports both the military and civil organisational areas of the Bundeswehr in the operational, process and organisational challenges of digitalization. In the Dimension Land we support this transformation very actively by the Team D-LBO (Digitalization of Land-based Operations).

Overarching support and coordination of the topics of the D-LBO Bw programme manager, with independent processing, structuring and coordination of thematic areas in the armaments sector at operational to strategic level Proactive development, design and maintenance of relationships with stakeholders (e.g., Bw services, users, BWI, Institute, Industry) and ensuring sustainable and smooth cooperation planning and control of the commissioned processes in the context of projects, studies, technical orders and other activities; e.g. creating and co-checking documents, performing status quo analyses, maintaining a current situation picture, project progress monitoring. TEN support (DEU/NLD) Own implementation and moderation of operational to strategic workshops and regulations Support to resolve conflicts of interest and destination and ensure coordination between all relevant stakeholders Preparation of analyses and decision templates as well as preparation of these in presentations and reports for the staff and the contracting authority incl. Organisation and maintenance of information and data storage (Sharepoint)

Complete university studies or comparable as well as pre-experience through a military career or alternatively in the context of Public/Defense/Rüst At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in project management, in the customer environment Bundeswehr/Public/Defense/Rüstung, preferably in the field of IT/organisational management Proven competences in stakeholder management as well as in cross-organisational projects Knowledge of project management methods (e.g. PMI/IPMA, PRINCE2, ITIL, agile approaches) and their application in practice Embossed communicative skills, empathy and readiness for flexibility and ability to prioritize Ability to control complex processes even over a longer period of time structured and solution-oriented Expressed analytical and solution-oriented thinking and action as well as high care and conscience German and English knowledge in word and writing Travel readiness (max. 30-50 %)
