General responsibility for the development organization with the fields of system engineering, hardware development, software development, design, test & verification and technical project management Professional and disciplinary leadership of the development areas and continuous development of the organisation Strategic orientation and further development of development processes, methods and standards Responsibility for planning, prioritizing and managing resources to successfully implement ongoing development and customer projects Ensuring efficient and quality-oriented product development across the entire development life cycle Budget planning and budgetary responsibility for the entire development area Promoting cross-departmental cooperation between development, production, quality, sales and management Development of modern development platforms, tools and processes Responsibility for compliance with relevant standards, quality requirements and safety-relevant requirements Support for technological decisions and the development of new product and innovation strategies Building and developing powerful teams and promoting a modern leadership culture

Complete studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, communications technology, mechanical engineering, systems engineering or comparable technical discipline Multiannual leadership experience in a development organisation of a technology-oriented industrial company Knowledge of modern development processes and experience in controlling interdisciplinary development teams Experience in the environment of safety-critical systems or regulated industries Knowledge in the field of functional safety, ideally in the field of railway technology, traffic technology, industrial automation or comparable areas Understanding system development and cooperation of hardware, software and system teams Embossed economic thinking and experience in budget and resource planning Communication strength as well as sovereign occurrence at different organisational levels High self-initiative, decision-making and strategic thinking Very good English skills in word and writing
