Senior Consultant (m/w/d) The Bielefeld Franziskus Hospital is one of five hospitals of the Catholic Hospital Ostwestfalen gGmbH. Every year, around 13,000 stationary and 31,000 outpatient patients are supplied in the ten specialist clinics and the centres (endoprosthetic center and oncological center with breast cancer center, colon cancer center, prostate cancer center). Our Clinic for Internal Medicine in Bielefeld treats all diseases of the field. This includes diseases of the cardiovascular system (cardiology), digestive organs (gastroenterology), kidney diseases (nephrology), lung diseases (neumology), diseases from the rheumatology and endocrinology and diabetics. We work closely together with our Department of Cardiology at the Herford site. In addition to general-internalistic diseases, in particular cardiological and angiological diseases are treated there. The clinic provides a 24-hour catheter readiness, cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators are implanted for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.

You work on three days a week at the Francis Hospital in the Department of Internal Medicine. Priorities are non-invasive cardiological but also general-internalistic readings. You participate in the care of intensive patients. On two days a week you work in the cardiology at Mathilden Hospital Herford. You support the management and control of the competent teams in accordance with the overall entrepreneurial objectives under the realization of a motivating leadership style. You take over the training of young doctors as well as over-the-job supervision. Participation in the medical call service is also your responsibility. The organizational cooperation with all departments is also one of your tasks. The participation in profile formation and further development of the department in cooperation with the multidisciplinary treatment team completes your task.

You are a powerful, open-minded and contact-loving medical personality (m/w/d) that maintains collegial cooperation with the established and active doctors in the home and develops the department in a creative manner. Engagement in student training is expected. A completed specialist training for internal medicine and cardiology according to old or new training regulations with experiences in the field of legal and left-art catheter examinations and PTCA are desired. Experiences in the field of internalist intensive medicine are helpful, a completed additional training is not absolutely necessary in this respect.
