CTO / Head of Technology (m/w/d) - medium-sized group (approx. 1,500 employees)

In this key function (age succession) for the further growth and future viability of the company, you are responsible for the strategic further development of production, product development and product management across all plants of the group worldwide. Together with those responsible, they continue to build the global organization, introduce new technologies and methods and consistently increase the degree of automation.

Our client is a growing medium-sized company (over 1,500 MA) with sales and production companies all over the world. Group-wide tasks are bundled in a holding company. The traditional family business is characterized by high innovative strength, rapid response to the requirements of the markets and high production depth. Complex products made of plastic and metal are developed and produced from small to large series for customers in various industries.

As a CTO of the Group, you assume the overall (strategic) responsibility for the long-term orientation of the global production plants and for the global production network (further globalisation, continuous improvement); to continuously expand the group structures You optimize and control the entire product development and innovation process They are responsible for building and developing a global product management organization (e.g. strategic decisions on production sites, variant management, product complexity) They bear the global responsibility for the core processes ''time to market' and 'order to delivery' They conduct the managing directors of all production plants in a disciplined manner and the areas of quality, supply chain, purchasing, industrial engineering as well as R&D/product development

Visionary, inspiring personality with strong strategic thinking as a driving force for global change processes Successfully completed technical (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering) or scientific studies with an industrial background or MBA Experience in handling technically demanding products in the B2B environment and in the product management of an international series manufacturer Leadership and experience in the management and development of interdisciplinary teams in the international environment Excellent knowledge of English in word and writing Innovation and high interest in trends in production and product development A self-responsible, targeted way of working with very good communication skills
