Management responsibility for the assigned Reviere (including human apes) Management of a healthy and diverse livestock Coordination of national and international breeding programmes of EAZA Responsible for the conception of animal husbandry conditions, the establishment of animal facilities and the employment and training of animals in the associated areas Consideration and implementation of all legal regulations and safety provisions Organisation and coordination of animal transport Cross-sector cooperation and communication (e.g. with authorities and other interfaces)

You have a completed (special) degree in the field of biology with a focus on zoology You have a multi-year professional experience as a curator in a zoological institution ideally with personal responsibility You have very good knowledge of the Federal Nature Conservation Act, species protection law, animal welfare law and transport regulation You are a high-communication leader with enforcing power and business thinking Embossed organizational skills You have good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of ZIMS and MS Office A safe and friendly appearance in the public and willingness to intensive visitor and media contacts Openness for the further development of the ZOOM adventure world
