For our construction and entertainment department, we are looking for a dedicated project manager (w/m/d). Bring your expertise to the planning of our bridges, tunnels and support walls and actively drive forward modern replacement new buildings.

You control the “Planning Structures” working area for the replacement, new and expansion of bridges, tunnels, noise protection walls and passages. You control all planning phases (performance phases 1 – 7 HOAI), conduct economic analysis and prepare the award of construction contracts. You take over the leading processing of particularly complex large-scale projects, check design designs and release execution plans. You clarify basic questions about planning processes and create standardised instructions for action, patterns and checklists for the entire department. You organize the personnel and deployment planning of your work area, promote knowledge transfer and secure the proper budget management. You coordinate contracted engineering offices and represent the interests of the branch in difficult and significant cases.

A completed master degree or university degree in the field of civil engineering. Specialization in construction, construction engineering, road construction or comparable well-founded professional experience. In-depth knowledge of the relevant rules (e.g. HVA-F, HOAI, HVA-B, VOB, RE-ING, RAB-ING, RIZ-ING, ZTV‐ING, VgV, FStrG, BauGB, BGB). Very good knowledge of German language in word and writing on at least C1 level (according to CEFR). A valid driving licence of Class B and the willingness to operate a utility vehicle. readiness to travel within the entire branch.

That would be desirable: Founded, practice-proven experiences in the award, handling and support of complex engineering contracts. Enhanced user knowledge of the industry-specific specialist software iTWO. First experience in the professional management of employees and in the structuring of work processes. A high level of enforcement, negotiation skills and organisational competence.
