Innovation Management (m/f/d)

We are looking for a person who works as an innovation manager (m/w/d) in the Rheinische Revier on site to bring sustainable small aircraft technologies into the market as quickly as possible. In the INK Innovation Centre, employees from various DLR institutes come together to interdisciplinary research on the topics of electric flying and (inter)urban mobility. As an employee (w/m/d), at the interface between the institutes in the INK, on the one hand, and the external partners, on the other hand, you take on the development of the business areas of the INK, its network, as well as the analysis and communication of technologies and trends for electric flying in the field of small aircraft technologies (focus: general aviation and advanced air mobility). Your tasks Development of decision-making proposals for targeted strategic business planning and the systematic further development of the business areas of the Innovation Centre with interfaces to the central department of economic cooperation, programme management aviation and the institutes in the INK (e.g. to the innovation managers:inside there) Establishment, implementation and coordination of a partner network with the aim of positioning the INK specifically in the Rheinische Revier and generally in the regional, national and international research landscape in coordination with the institutes in the INK Implementation of an innovation and technology scouting including the creation of trend analyses by monitoring scientific and economic developments and identifying new innovation potentials and addressing relevant stakeholders (internal and external) internal key accounting and guidance of the young people in the INK in the generation of protection rights and licensing agreements through systematic portfolio analyses, development of IP strategies and support in technology transfer (together with central departments of DLR, which support this) Building and maintaining an innovation culture through measures to promote cooperation, exchange of ideas and professional project management using modern innovation methods Organisation and implementation of a regular internal exchange for technology transfer in the field of small aircraft technologies, as well as communication of contacts to potential industrial partners, investors, experienced founders, accelerators etc. Representation of DLR interests on small aircraft technologies and innovation management in the Rheinische Revier and NRW in coordination with the institutes in the INK

completed scientific university studies (Master/Diplom-Uni) of engineering (e.g. the fields of economic engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electromobility or mechatronics) or other courses relevant to the activity in-depth knowledge and practical experience in the business development sector, service/service management, business development, innovation management for the management of research and development products demonstrable practical experience in business development, development of business models in the environment or related to aviation technologies or other relevant technology fields relevant industry knowledge in the field of aerospace technology Knowledge of working recovery structures knowledge of English in word and writing practical experience in building and maintaining scientific networks
