In this function, you will be able to provide technical support for the development of complex technological and optical systems. The technical evaluation of the feasibility of system requirements and the development of concepts within the framework of design studies are part of your multifaceted task. Together with other experts, you will conduct simulations on coarse and fine analysis and the integration and measurement of the systems. (m/w/d) for internal and external project partners as well as for suppliers. The identification, testing and evaluation of sensor technologies within the framework of research and technology projects complete your field of activity.

A complete master's or graduate study of the experimental physics or engineering in the field of optics, electrical engineering, semiconductor technology or a comparable field of application, also with promo­tion, forms the ideal precondition for this position. You have optimal professional experience and provide us with your skills and experience in sensor technology, electronics, photonic integrated circuits (PICs), quantum physics or optics. In addition, you can present know-how in dealing with programming languages (e.g. Matlab or C), laboratory control programs (e.g. LabVIEW or Python) and in the application of optical simulation methods (e.g. Zemax OpticStudio). You provide us with your first experience in dealing with inter­national and interdisciplinary project teams and have good presentation and communication skills.
