As part of the IT office, you will become part of the IT communication and networks department and will be well and quickly integrated into the existing team structures. You will also become an important link between the IT operation and the MS365 introduction project. During your time, you will get to know the extensive areas of urban administration and face new tasks and challenges of urban administration. Network administration Administration of the firewall environment including the connection of the external sites via VPN (execution and initiation of rule changes, monitoring of the systems, evaluation of the i log files, planning and execution of updates, virus protection) Administration of the external mailgateway (execution and initiation of rule changes, virus protection, spam protection, system monitoring, planning and implementation of updates) Requirements analysis Document, prioritize and vote in the team, including cloud and hybrid requirements for MS365 services such as Exchange Online, Teams or SharePoint. Customize network topology, plan IP addressing, check redundancy concepts Inject new sites, devices, services or cloud resources into topology and update existing documentation. Design subnetworks and VLANs, reserve and document IP areas, testing on-premise and cloud environments, planning backup lines and failover mechanisms, and monitoring implementation Technical infrastructure management Monitoring and analysis of network performance (on-premises and cloud), installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware (routers, switches, security features, patch management), execution of fault analyses, 2nd level support for the network area. Implementation of vulnerability analysis, updating network plans, documentation of configurations and protocols

completed studies (min. Bachelor / Diploma [FH]) of the discipline Computer Science or Business Informatics or in a comparable discipline or a comparable qualification; or equivalent skills and experience many years of relevant professional experience (from three years) good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least at the language level C1/C2) informed MS-Office knowledge Knowledge and practical experience in the fields: Funded knowledge in the management of hybrid Microsoft-365 environments, including administrative sports (Exchange, Teams, Entra Admin Center) Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (former Azure AD), hybrid identity management, AD DS, group guidelines (GPO) and Entra Connect/Cloud Sync. Administration of Exchange Server (Hybrid/Online) and Microsoft Teams (Directions, Meetings, Telephone, Collaboration Functions) Experience in managing users, groups, roles (RBAC) and authentication and authorization procedures (MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, Identity Protection) PowerShell scripts for automation, knowledge of information security, data protection (e.g. ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz) Monitoring, error analysis, incident/problem management, technical documentation and operating concepts, ITIL processes
