IT System Engineer Security - Administration (m/f/d)

You manage and implement firewall systems, VPN gateways and encryption solutions. You monitor the network infrastructure at all our locations and work closely with the SOC. You design and implement security policies, firewall rules and access concepts. You actively participate in multi-site projects to modernise our network and security infrastructure. You analyse security incidents, correct vulnerabilities and ensure the safe operation of the systems in your area of responsibility. You continue developing our cybersecurity architectures and continuously implement curing measures.

You bring at least 3 years of experience in a comparable position. You have a degree in computer science or a comparable training with relevant professional practice. You have profound experience in network administration, ideally using Cisco or Fortinet technologies. You have extensive knowledge of firewalling, routing, encryption and network-related services. You own network security expertise (authentication, intrusion detection, segmentation). Basics in Layer-2/3 encryption technologies are available or you are ready to work in. Manufacturer certifications (e.g. Cisco, Fortinet) are advantageous.
