As a Managed Security Service Provider within REWE Group, we are responsible for Incident Response, Security Analytics, Vulnerability Management and the operation of tools such as SIEM and XDR.

Tasks that keep you posted: You are fully responsible for your product including budget and work closely with the team, other product owners and the architect: The internal processes, safety procedures and guidelines for correcting defects in the context of the business compliance requirements (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS-2) are continuously developing You identify the optimization potential of SOC monitoring based on the current threat situation, best-practice and Lessons-Learned and plan their implementation If necessary, you support in the Incident Response and when providing security recommendations for other product teams For management, you'll start reporting on the threat situation and the KPIs from the SOC

Features that make you feel: You have a successfully completed study of (economic) computer science, an education or a comparable qualification with At least 5 years of professional experience in security operations, preferably in a senior technical role or as a senior security analyst/manager Experience in the analysis of data from cybersecurity monitoring tools, including proven experience in the use of SIEM, XDR, EDR, NDR, PAM and Threat intelligence solutions Knowledge of various safety methods and technical safety solutions Impressed decision-making capacity with proven ability to balance the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate Relevant certifications such as CISSP/CISM, SANS GIAC certifications, CEH/LPT or other relevant certifications are advantageous
