The position can be occupied in Kassel or in Kiel

Disciplinary and professional responsibility incl. Construction and development of the functional and logical system architecture for our systems Collection, structuring and maintenance of technical requirements Ensuring consistent, model-based function and behavior descriptions (MBSE/SysML, state and sequence models, function chains) as a binding reference for an E/E architecture based on it and HW/SW development For derivation, structuring and maintenance of the system requirements at functional and logical level - including traceability to stakeholder requirements and verification/validation activities Representation of functional vision in cross-sectoral and cross-dominal bodies Establishment, standardization and continuous improvement of methods, processes and toolchains in the field of Systems Engineering / MBSE (including requirement, configuration and change management) Integration of safety, SOTIF and security requirements into functional specification and their consistent consideration throughout the development process Provide the delivery items according to time, quality and cost (e.g. specifications, models, architectural documents) You further develop the organizational and methodological department, shape roles, competencies and tool landscape and promote cultural, interdisciplinary cooperation within the department and with the product-driven areas

Completed university degree (M.Sc.) of electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, systems engineering, vehicle engineering or a comparable technical degree course Multiannual professional experience in system and function development in the automotive, defence or aerospace environment, ideally in a role as system architect/in, function architect/in or in the management of corresponding teams Found knowledge in Systems Engineering and MBSE methods, safe handling of SysML/UML as well as experience with state, activity and sequence diagrams and functional models Deep understanding of modern E/E vehicle architectures (domain/zone architectures, distributed functions, communication networks) and their implications on functional interfaces and allocation Practical experience with requirement management tools (e.g. DOORS, Polarion, Codebeamer, etc.) Good knowledge of relevant standards and standards (e.g. ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ISO 21448) and their implementation in specifications at system and functional level Detectable leadership and experience in the development, development and control of interdisciplinary teams Embossed communication and moderation capabilities, especially in work with many stakeholders and in the translation of complex technical issues for management, partners and customers Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing, as well as the willingness to occasionally travel within the framework of project and supplier agreements
