Regional Security Manager - Greater Hamburg Area

In this key role, you deliver security as a service for our operating locations along the entire supply chain to protect our employees and prevent losses.Key job responsibilities- Take responsibility for the performance of security and loss prevention in your cluster (geographical region)

• Guide a team of security and damage prevention experts who provide security as a service for operating sites within a geographical area of responsibility that form a cluster
• Ensure compliance with location regulations, regular location checks and physical security status of sites within your cluster
• Manage relevant risks within your cluster (prevention, intervention, investigation)
• Connect the management of your cluster to ensure a positive working relationship, understand support options and give advice on security risksA day in the life As Cluster Loss Prevention Manager:in it you are responsible for a team of security and loss prevention experts who provide security as a service for multiple locations across the Amazon supply chain within a geographical area of responsibility and form a cluster. You are responsible for the performance of security and damage prevention in your cluster. This allows you to manage the daily tactical use of your team to cope with the workload related to security and damage prevention. You prioritise the incoming workload and evaluate risks to ensure compliance with the Service Level Agreements agreed with your internal customers and to avoid proactive negative impact on the company. You coach your team and provide expert guidance in prevention, intervention and investigation. Your team manages the daily operations; However, You take responsibility when problems become complex. You work with your team to identify, evaluate and mitigate all security risks within your cluster and to share insights and best practices with the entire company. You are responsible for ensuring the site compliance, regular site audits and physical security status of the sites within your cluster. In addition, you are responsible for budget planning for external service providers as well as the recruitment of your direct reports in your cluster. Finally, you cooperate with the management of your cluster to ensure a positive working relationship, to understand ways of supporting and to give advice on security risks.About the teamAs part of the Global Security Operations Organisation, Security and Loss Prevention supports the achievement of Amazon's business objectives and strengthen our brand by effective protection against relevant threats and by managing security and loss prevention risks that might include:

We do this by preventing security and loss-related risks and vulnerabilities as early as possible, engaging in emerging incidents to minimize negative effects, as well as thoroughly investigating safety-relevant incidents to identify and eliminate the causes of the ground and thus prevent recurrence.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A degree or equivalent degree
• Insufficient advanced security or risk-related experience (e.g. security services, damage prevention, risk management, inventory management, investigations, supply chain, auditing, compliance or the like)
• Insufficient team experience in managing a team distributed over a geographical area, as well as in development, recruitment and performance management
• Insufficient experience in dealing with the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
• German and English language skills in word and writing
• Class B licence PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• A relevant higher degree, an equivalent higher degree or an industry certification
• Insufficient experience with physical security systems
• Investigation techniques and/or the management of contract security officers
• Reliable experience in retail, warehouse, sales centers, delivery service or supply chain
• Experience in handling data analysis
