(m/d) School in Berlin We are young people in the Kiez – youth assistance gGmbH, short “Juwo”, a recognized freelance from Berlin with over 80 educational projects and areas of application. We are professionals, both colourful and, if necessary, critical and courageous when it comes to the development and rights of children, young people and their families. For the new school year and from 01.09.2026, we are looking for a school social workerin / social pedagoguein (m/w/d) for the primary school at the coupling path in Berlin – Neukölln (Britz). The place is created in the so-called “Secreative Model”. The school follows an innovative school concept as a department school. In the Compartment School, teaching takes place in small, flexible areas, the “Compartments” – “small schools” at school. These areas are like independent learning worlds that can be used individually and are more closely oriented to the needs of the students. Professional spaces, learning and multipurpose spaces are places for exchange, learning and research and together form a versatile school. Your duties As a school social workerin / social pedagoguein (w/m/d) you define the class reference work (1-6th class) You take over the independent case-handling and accompany students with their parents individually in challenging situations of life You promote cooperation between school and parental home You develop and design offers in the context of school development, focusing on “social learning”, “democracy pedagogy” and the prevention of guilt instability You network in school and social-spatial bodies and cooperate closely with Leh-rer, the Youth Office and other institutions of youth assistance.
