The SOS Children's Village Niederrhein is active in child and youth assistance, vocational education and counselling. We take care of children, young people, adults and families in special situations of life. Our facility is represented at the Niederrhein in Kleve, Kevelaer, Emmerich am Rhein, Geldern and Duisburg with more than ten locations. Around 300 employees help, support and accompany 2,500 representatives, participants and visitors.

Individual placement and assistance of people with disabilities to a suitable work or training place within the framework of the LVR integration office. Comprehensive individual case advice taking into account the personal situation of life and the individual skills, interests and professional objectives. Development of tailor-made application strategies based on the personal resources and wishes of clients. Preparation of professional application documents and intensive preparation for interviews and selection procedures. Developing individual skills, performance and interest profiles as a basis for successful professional integration. Support throughout the entire conciliation process – from initial consultation to sustainable integration in the workplace. Accompanying work and during the start-up phase to ensure a successful start-up in the long term. Consultation and support in the application to the relevant rehabilitation bodies. Close cooperation with employers, network partners, rehabilitation bodies and other institutions involved. Careful compliance with the documentary requirements of the LVR Inclusion Office and a conscientious and structured case documentation.
