Packaging Compliance Manager (m/f/d)

Examination of packaging specifications and documents of our suppliers (e.g. declarations of conformity, material data sheets) with a focus on: verification of conformity of packaging on suitability for food contact (based on Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004) Assessment of the recyclability and sustainability of packaging (with compliance with PPWR requirements) Implementation of packaging optimizations for a more sustainable packaging design

Responsible documentation and storage of the packaging data Maintenance and updating of customer databases / portals Continuous exchange with our suppliers, colleagues in the departments, external consultants and customers

Completed commercial training or relevant studies Basic knowledge of packaging materials and regulations on the conformity of food packaging are of advantage, but also professional or cross-enterers with quick understanding & curiosity for new challenges are welcome Ability to understand and implement complex regulatory requirements Very good organizational skills and a high degree of care Self-employed Flowing English knowledge of word and writing are absolutely necessary, as we work in an international environment Safe handling of MS Office, especially Excel
