Logistics Coordination / Scheduling Employee (m/f/d)

You plan and coordinate our national and international transports. You order and control external freight forwarders and freight carriers and ensure reliable transport execution. You will dispose of our own fleet and ensure an economic tour and utilization planning. You agree to pick-up and delivery dates with the sales service, the warehouse, our customers and the transport service providers. You monitor ongoing transports and anticipate delays, bottlenecks or other deviations. If necessary, you will collect freight offers, comparative terms and select suitable transport solutions. You control freight costs and assist in the testing and clarification of transport bills. You ensure that all necessary shipping and transport information is available in full and in time. You process transport damage and logistical complaints and follow agreed measures until clarification. You provide transport-relevant data and document agreements and deviations in our systems. Together with the participating areas, you develop our logistics processes and identify opportunities for cost and process optimization.
