In the Veterinary and Consumer Protection Office, the following body shall be placed at the earliest possible date.

Senior Consultant (m/w/d)

The workplace is in Schwäbisch Hall.

These are your tasks:

• They contribute to the supply of safe food to the population by investigating live animals and meat obtained.
• They ensure compliance with animal welfare during slaughter and transport.
• You run a team of dedicated official assistants.
• They monitor hygiene in a large export-oriented slaughtering and cutting operation.
• They prepare processes for further administrative measures, e.g. through the careful documentation of animal welfare issues.

Take this with you:

• a completed study of veterinary medicine and German approval as a veterinarian
• a completed professional qualification for use as an official veterinarian according to DelVO (EC) No [for phone number see the original ad]
• the 200 compulsory hours according to DelVO (EC) No [for phone number see the original ad] for the introduction into the activities of an official veterinarian under the supervision of experienced colleagues may be discontinued on site
• Experiences in meat hygiene or large animal practice are advantageous
• Team skills and readiness for flexible work from Monday to Saturday

• the ability to keep a clear head even in challenging situations and make structured decisions
