The Caritas Association for the City of Bonn is the local welfare association of the Catholic Church. With more than 1,100 employees, we offer support for people in the areas of children, youth and family, integration and rehabilitation as well as life and living in age and illness. In our more than 60 different facilities and services we accompany people according to the personal situation of life. As a partner of the city society, we actively promote social cooperation and social participation for all people in the federal city of Bonn. The area of integration and rehabilitation includes various forms of offer of homeless assistance, addiction assistance and social psychiatry. In outpatient, semi-stationary and stationary aid, support and counselling settings, both in acute emergency situations are helped and the goal is to restore health and self-employment through continuous consultation and monitoring processes. In addition to looking for social work throughout the city, we also offer a wide range of living forms. With the offers of the Department of Social Psychiatry, we help people with mental illness to live as self-determined as possible and to sustainably strengthen their participation in social life. You bear the operational responsibility for the Department of Social Psychiatry with its services and facilities. You design the strategic and future-oriented orientation of the department and develop the offers both in terms of content and business management. You develop innovative participation perspectives for clients – even beyond their own field of expertise. You maintain a close exchange with relevant authorities and cooperation partners and build sustainable networks. You ensure the quality of work and ensure compliance with all legal requirements, requirements and regulations. You lead the department and the team in participative and motivating.

Study of social education / social work or comparable relevant qualifications Leadership experience in social work – ideally combined with expertise in integration aid Operational skills and safe handling of refinancing instruments Joy of communication, networking, strategic design and acceptance of responsibility Safe appearance in cooperation with stakeholders, contractors, social workers and professional bodies belonging to a Christian church and willingness to actively contribute our Christian mission
