As Chapter Lead, you are the disciplinary director (m/w/d) of the chapter and focus on the coaching and development of your team members as well as on the recruitment of new chapter members. You define internal technical standards, guidelines and best practices in the context of the preferably automated testing of IoT devices in accordance with the state of the art and future technologies and are responsible for the corresponding design and development of the chapter identity. You conceptualize and organize the creation of test concepts and set-ups as well as test catalogs and set-ups and define suitable measures for increasing the test efficiency and the automation component throughout the test cycle. You guide the chapter team for situational and analytical error analysis, error diagnosis and evaluations and documentation of tests. You are responsible for the creation and operation of the required test infrastructure (test stations and equipment), the construction and maintenance of stable test setups with the possibility of stable reproduction of measurements (“gold sample” handling). You define the desired competence profiles of your chapter members in accordance with ista's strategy, quality and technology roadmap and continuously develop your team's skill set towards these profiles. In coordination with the other Chapter Leads and the Tribe Lead, you'll fill the squads and work closely with the Product Owners to find the best way to achieve business goals. You act as a technical coach (m/w/d) for the chapter members with your innovative thinking. You actively contribute your expertise in device testing (HW, SW, Security).

Your experience in leadership of teams is characterized by a coach-oriented leadership style. With your strong communicative skills, you can convince and inspire others – across all hierarchy levels. You have knowledge of the state-of-the-art methods and tools for testing and quality assurance of solutions in the IoT device environment with wireless communication interface that you have acquired in at least 5 years of professional experience. Knowledge of network and radio technology testing and cloud and web services. Very good knowledge and practical experience in software development and test automation (Python, Pytest, Selenium, Appium). Knowledge in the context of the test method according to ISTQB (e.g. Certified Tester). You know the roadmaps for future test concepts and tools for IoT device development. You have pronounced analytical skills, a high level of learning and change and ideally have first experiences with an agile working culture in a hardware development environment. Your pragmatic and risk-conscious working style reflects the commitment to high technical responsibility. Very good German and English language skills.
