Head of Financial Management & Reporting for Major State Project (m/f/d)

In this exciting role, you are responsible for a resilient commercial management and reporting system and prepare monthly, quarterly and regulatory evaluations, planning bills and risk analyses to address and decide. To do this, you control the controlling in the project and enterprise context with high accuracy, keep budgets, medium usage, deviations and forecasts in mind, thereby creating transparency for internal and external reporting recipients. You contribute to the annual accounts, report components, multiannual economic planning and business forecasts and ensure a consistent, comprehensible database. In addition, you continuously develop commercial processes, leadership instruments and digital reporting structures and help to make existing processes more efficient, more practical and sustainable. In your function, you run a currently three-headed commercial team, coordinate interfaces to adjacent areas and work directly with the management and other executives.

For this exciting function you have a successfully completed study of business management, financial or accounting, or a related subject area - additional knowledge in controlling is expressly welcome. You bring several years of sound professional experience in commercial management, controlling, economic planning and reporting – and ideally in complex project organisations. Expertise in the building environment or in publicly embossed structures are advantageous, but no compelling prerequisite. You are familiar with controlling instruments, statistic evaluations and financial planning logics and also understand how to prepare extensive numerical works in a structured, precise and comprehensible manner. In addition, you work methodically strongly, extremely carefully and solution-oriented. You take responsibility in terms of content and leadership and combine analytical depth with a high degree of implementation orientation. High IT and system affinity as well as first experience with financial planning or reporting software complete your profile.
