Description of posts

As a painter and painter (m/w/d) in the Location Services, you are part of a motivated team responsible for the professional execution of painting work at the Hannover Stöcken site.

Your main tasks include:

• Reading construction plans and work instructions as well as testing surfaces to determine the required work
• Preparing on site, e.g. setting up a construction site and attaching protective plans
• Preparing walls and other surfaces for painting ( scraping, grinding, removing old color)
• filling of cracks and holes with suitable material (e.g. gypsum)
• Mixing colors and materials to achieve the right color or texture
• Painting and painting of surfaces according to instructions with different tools
• Applying paint and other coatings
• Support for the calculation of material requirements and costs and, where appropriate, Price negotiations
• Maintaining all safety and health measures

Qualifications

• Complete vocational training as painter and painter
• Excellent knowledge of materials and their selection, mixing and application
• Very good knowledge of painting techniques for the industrial and construction sectors
• Ability to safely use suitable tools (brushes, rollers, sprayers etc.)
• Basic mathematical skills to calculate quantities and costs
• Safe working on scaffolds and ladders
• High detail accuracy and careful operation
