Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)

You make sure our cloud infrastructure remains stable, performant and sustainable. To do this, you actively engage in architecture topics, evaluate new technologies and develop automated solutions that reliably scale our platform. You keep our systems in mind, analyze performance data and guide fast, sustainable actions in the event of disruption. With smart playbooks you create efficient, repeatable processes and drive automation consistently. Together with product management, development and quality assurance, you are implementing new requirements in robust infrastructure processes and making a central contribution to the stability and further development of our platform. You bring safe knowledge of German and English to C1 level and live in Dortmund. In the Linux administration you feel at home, work routined with Kubernetes, Docker as well as popular open source databases such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB or PostgreSQL. Tools such as Kibana and Prometheus are of course used as well as DevOps, CI/CD and Scripting workflows. You also develop Ansible playbooks to automate processes efficiently.

In addition to reliable knowledge of German and English (C1 levels) and the residence of Dortmund, you have many years of professional experience in the following areas: Administration of Linux-based networks / knowledge in the Linux environment Virtualization solutions and container platforms (based on Kubernetes and Docker) Open source databases (e.g. Elasticsearch, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) Logging and monitoring (e.g. Kibana and Prometheus) Process Knowledge in DevOps, Continuous Integration/Deployment and Scripting Development of playbooks based on Ansible for the automation of recurring tasks
