The Südharz Klinikum Nordhausen gGmbH is a hospital of supra-regional care and academic teaching hospital of the University Hospital Jena. As the largest municipal hospital in Thuringia, we have about 800 beds, 26 specialist departments as well as modern functional areas and institutes. Our approximately 1,900 employees provide approximately 31,000 stationary patients each year. Our modern center of gravity hospital is well-equipped both structurally and technically and therefore meets the standard of a maximum care clinic. These include a central surgery with 12 rooms including Da-Vinci robotics, a central emergency with a short care unit, state-of-the-art X-ray diagnostics, two intensive care stations, and a medical rehabilitation centre with advanced outpatient physiotherapy (EAP). In addition, the rescue helicopter Christoph 37 of the DRF air rescue is stationed at the clinic.

For the eye clinic, we are looking for a senior physician (m/w/d).

Our eye clinic has 15 beds and treats around 1,800 stationary patients each year. We also carry out more than 2,300 outpatient operations every year. We rely on state-of-the-art techniques, current diagnostic methods and innovative treatment methods without losing sight of the proven values of traditional medicine. Our diagnostic range includes electrophysiology, visual study and ultrasound diagnostics. Therapeutically, we offer a wide range of interventions, including laser therapies, plastic-reconstructive surgery, tear-needle surgery, schilling operations, corneal transplants and operations of the gray star. The clinic also serves several MVZ seats. Your tasks
