At the closest possible time, we are looking for a director of financial accounting (m/w/d) for the company location in Lübeck in the course of an age succession. In this position, you are essentially responsible for the proper, timely financial accounting, including the completion of HGB, liquidity management, and meaningful reporting, and at the same time act as a leader for a four-person team. In addition, drive forward the further development and digitization of the financial processes and ensure efficient, law-compliant processes in close cooperation with internal and external partners. Responsibility for ongoing financial accounting (debitors, creditors, main book) incl. Monthly and annual accounts by HGB and tax reports Professional and organizational leadership of a 4-member team incl. Coaching and further development Ensuring correct bookings, account adjustments and creation of provisions and delimitations Control of liquidity and payment transactions including Cash flow planning, receivable management and dunning Establishment and further development of efficient reporting and preparation of analyses and ad hoc evaluations for management Optimization and digitization of accounting processes in compliance with statutory requirements (GoBD) and ensuring data quality and system stability (Sage 100 incl. interfaces) Cooperation and management of projects for process improvement, automation and further development of financial systems Close cooperation with internal interfaces and coordination with tax advisors and auditors including audit management

Complete business studies or commercial training with additional qualification (e.g. balance sheet holder) Multiannual experience in a comparable activity in financial accounting, ideally in a medium-sized trading company with warehouse-leading processes Multiannual disciplinary responsibility is advantageous Funded knowledge of HGB financing, tax law (in particular turnover tax) and in cooperation with tax advisors and auditors Experience in the digitization and optimization of processes under GoBD requirements Detectable successes in ensuring timely and reliable monthly and annual accounts according to HGB, optimized processes and stable team structures Structured, precise and self-responsive operation paired with pronounced numerical affinity and hands-on mentality Communication strength, enforcement ability and a cooperative, team-oriented leadership style High level of integrity, reliability and discretion as well as a solution-oriented, proactive operation Affinity for continuous improvement, efficiency improvement and digital developments Ideally experience with e-calculation, payment formats (e.g. SEPA, pain.001), treasury tools and the introduction or Development of ERP and workflow systems Secure handling of ERP/FiBu systems (preferably Sage 100) and MS Office programs, especially Excel German language skills in word and writing
