Cutting machine operator / precision mechanic (m|f|d) as grinder

Your duties You work on an outer circular grinding machine for the production of shafts and shaft-like parts (from 5 to 6,000 kg with a diameter of 15 to 1,600 mm). These include the processing of orders by default from completed work documents (signments, work plans, gear data sheet, etc.) and the coordination of the directly pending and prepared orders. You prepare tools, select clamping means, insert measuring means and maintain the tool and process data. Also read tool data and editing programs and determine reference points as well as cutting conditions. You check tool positions and tool dimensions and optimize them if necessary. The independent material transport with industrially customary industrial trucks is also part of the task area.

Your profile You have completed training in a metal profession e.g. machining mechanic, precision mechanics, tool mechanics, industrial mechanic or comparable. In this area you have a multi-year professional experience in grinding conventional, cyclically controlled or computer-controlled grinding machines, e.g. with the control unit Siemens 840D pl/sl. We require very good German knowledge in word and writing. The general willingness to work in the layer rhythm (also 3-layer) (on individual or several machines) is also brought along. Ideally, you have a forklift and/or crane license (no condition).
