About the company

For an internationally established company, we are looking for an experienced person in the field of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), who is responsible for several European locations. You act as a central HSE instance, advise local teams at eye level and ensure effective, uniform implementation of group-wide HSE standards. The place must be occupied for Ingolstadt, Landshut and/or Freising.

Total responsibility and coordination of all health, safety and environment issues within a European competence Professional leadership, accompaniment and empowerment of local teams at the locations as a savings partner and coach Harmonization, standardization and continuous optimization of HSE processes, standards and structures Ensuring the transfer of group-wide strategies and guidelines as well as the transfer of local legal requirements into practical, location-specific measures Analysis of relevant HSE key figures and derivation and control of targeted improvement initiatives Technical support for the locations in training and compliance topics as well as in engineering projects and risk assessments Close, structured communication with European locations and central interfaces at group level Planning, coordination and accompaniment of audits, reviews and desires, including consistent follow-up and effectiveness assessment of measures Regular travel activities within Europe (up to about 50%) and occasional operations at global locations

Complete technical studies (e.g. engineering, environmental science, occupational safety) or comparable qualification Professional experience in the HSE environment of a manufacturing company Detectable experience in overarching roles with responsibility for several locations (e.g. cluster, regional or group level) Knowledge of relevant HSE guidelines, standards and legal frameworks and their practical application Sovereign, strong personality with strong communication skills and professional appearance Ability to convey complex facts structured, addressable and practical, from shopfloor to management level Very good English skills in word and writing High readiness within Europe (up to about 50%)
