Team Leader in Finance and Accounting (m/f/d)

Your team consists of eleven dedicated colleagues who together ensure the reliable accounting support of our customers from waste and water management and SERVICE plus GmbH. It is responsible for all financial accounting – from ongoing accounting to the production of annual accounts to consolidated financial statements. You take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of your team and continuously develop it. In doing so, you control the resources and capacities forward-looking, so that you can optimally distribute tasks and actively shape structures and procedures. You ensure the timely and quality-oriented creation of the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB, you are responsible for the consolidated financial statements of SERVICE plus GmbH and carry out professional reviews. As part of the completion, you work closely with adjacent specialist teams and are available as competent contact persons for auditors, tax advisers, management and other internal and external contact persons. In doing so, you seek trusting and successful cooperation. You have the pleasure of moving things: You recognize potential for improvement, drive the digitization of our financial accounting and optimise processes in terms of efficiency, quality and automation. You have a look at service contracts, budget specifications and cost developments for your team at any time. With your professional expertise, you are an esteemed Sparring partner for the management, other departments as well as internal and external stakeholders. You bring your experience, give orientation and help to develop topics successfully. You actively accompany the further development of our structures and working methods as part of the team's teamwork with similar tasks. This is about using synergies, developing common standards and raising efficiency.

You have a degree in economics or a completed commercial training, supplemented by a further training to the audited account holder (m/w/d) or a comparable qualification. You have well-founded experience in the creation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB and ideally in consolidated accounting. Multiannual professional experience in the field of financial and accounting, as well as a safe handling of tax and commercial regulations, are yours. You are safe in handling modern ERP systems (ideally MS Dynamics 365 Business Central) as well as very versed in MS Excel and have a strong interest in developing digital processes. You have at least first experience in the leadership of employees and understand how to motivate them, promote individual strengths and develop your team successfully. Leading a growing team with a bigger task area is a desirable goal for you. You communicate clearly, openly and value-estimatingly, work in the team and tackle tasks in a proactive and structured manner. Also in challenging situations you keep an overview. Ideally, you already have knowledge of energy and circulatory industries or are interested in working in these highly relevant topics.
