Cook in Unit B.6 ''Participant Catering'' (m/f/d)

The BBK is the head office of the Federal Government for National Crisis Management in Germany. We ensure the quality of crisis management in a central coordination role with federal, international and cross-sector partners. In view of this task, our interdisciplinary team is growing steadily. We are looking for dedicated professionals who want to make Germany more crisis-proof. We are looking at the next possible deadline until 31.12.2027 a cook (w/m/d) Group E 5 TVöD (Bund) in the Unit B.6 “Participant catering” at the Federal Academy of Civil Protection and Civil Defense (BABZ) in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler.

Gastronomic creativity – you are responsible for preparing varied menus for the hot and cold kitchen (breakfast, lunch and evening meals). Service – You are actively working on the service line and in cashing via the cash register system. Quality and hygiene standards according to HACCP – You are responsible for the documentation within the HACCP according to operational specifications and for compliance with quality standards. catering for other locations – you will participate in the daily remote catering of our main building in Bonn. Layer system – You work from 06:00 to 14:18 or from 11:00 to 19:18. The start and end of the respective layers is the Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler site. In exceptional cases, bets can be made on the weekend.

You have successfully completed a vocational training as a cook/as a cook or are close to completion. Ideally, you have already gained first experience in gastronomy. You have a driving licence according to category B. You have task-oriented physical performance. You like to work team- and service-oriented, can adapt flexibly to different expectations and needs and appreciate independent work and responsibility for your task. Since our tasks are safety-relevant and event-oriented, we need your willingness to extend the safety review and to participate in the BBK crisis organisation.
