That makes this job interesting for me: ready for sea! In the offshore operation of 50Hertz, I make sure that the 50Hertz high-voltage cable systems work reliably – and actively shape the network expansion at sea. I am part of a dedicated team that drives the energy transition with #KeepingTheLightsOn. My expertise is first used in the construction project phase. Later I work in the North Sea and take care of the offshore phases e.g. in the 14-day rhythm for continuous support and maintenance of cable technology. I am looking forward to becoming part of a dynamic team with a wide range of development options and shaping the future of offshore technology. My tasks: I work on network expansion and innovation projects, I plan and carry out maintenance projects for offshore cable installations, I monitor the availability of 50Hertz cable systems and respect all relevant safety and environmental requirements, I evaluate the technical condition of the plants, calculate electrical parameters and conduct measures, I also accompany projects commercially and contractually – from budget planning to warranty monitoring, I test assembly methods, analyze the impact on security of supply and monitor the implementation, I answer external technical questions and carry out training and instruction, I'm part of the 50Hertz standby system.
