Technician for oversized and heavy transport (m/f/d)

In this position, you are responsible for the processing of requests for large-scale and heavy transport according to § 29 para. 3 StVO i. V. m. §§ 44 and 46 para. 1 No. 2 and 5 StVO. You shall draw up opinions on relevant applications and shall take into account the applicable legal requirements and the general administrative provisions relating to the road transport system. Your tasks include checking all relevant influencing variables. You check the application documents for completeness and accuracy, for example with regard to column travels or indivisible charges. In addition, you control the requested route in the area of competence on route completion and take into account in particular the dynamic construction site situation. You clarify contradictions in the load image, for example with regard to axle loads, axle distances and total weight. A further focus of your activity is the carrying out of geometrical and static checks of applications taking into account the load image and bridge-specific properties. These include, among other things, the static check of the drivability as well as height-technical calculations for the undercarriage of bridge structures in large-scale and heavy transport. You will take into account construction sites and other road obstacles, such as motorway crossings, and work with special specialist applications. In addition, check driving requirements based on static comparison calculations. You shall apply the guidelines for the calculation and measurement of engineering structures (BEM-ING), the guidelines for large-scale and heavy transport (RGST) and the rules for the management of the road transport system in order to ensure the stability and durability of the buildings and to ensure the protection of road users. In addition, you prepare and prepare traffic regulations using the management and information system for workstations, as well as check traffic signs plans in close coordination with the applicants. You have a degree as a state-tested construction engineer or state-tested construction engineer with the focus on statics or a comparable qualification with corresponding expertise and practical experience. You have good basic knowledge of statics and well-founded knowledge of DIN 1045-1 (substructures of concrete, reinforced concrete and tension concrete – part 1: planning, design and construction), Eurocode 1 – part 2 (impacts on structures – part 2: traffic loads on bridges), Eurocode 2 (concrete construction), regulations and guidelines for the calculation and measurement of engineering buildings – part 3: calculation of road bridges in the heavy transport site In addition, you will bring a pronounced affinity to work with complex technical applications. Ideally, you already have experience in the operation of specialized systems, such as the GST-X system for calculating and testing large-scale and heavy transports, or are willing to work intensively into these applications.
