As a Data Engineer, you will: Integrate data from different sources into central data warehouses and data sheets - using ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter Develop, construct and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes Data quality and consistency by implementing data validation and Ensure cleaning processes Working with data analysts and data scientists to support data analysis and machine learning Optimize data architecture and improve data processing efficiency Ensure security measures to protect sensitive data Create and maintain technical documentation and data policies Monitor and maintain data infrastructure to ensure system availability and performance

As a Data Engineer, you should bring: Complete study of (economic) informatics or comparable qualifications Mind. 2 years of experience in IT projects, ideally in IT consulting Ideally multi-year experience with Informatica PowerCenter Very good knowledge of SQL and ETL processes / tools Good knowledge of database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL Good knowledge of database development with SQL query languages such as PL/SQL or T-SQL Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java or Scala Knowledge of Shell programming under Linux/Unix desirable willingness to build up expertise in various ETL tools (such as Informatica PowerCenter, Apache Spark or Qlik/Talend) as well as other programming languages and technologies in the respective customer context Interest in AI tools to use them supportively in your working day, taking into account the applicable legal requirements (e.g. EU AI Act, Privacy, Compliance) Basic travel readiness (3 days/week), depending on the customer situation Very good knowledge of German and English
