DHL Sorting Center GmbH is looking for a project manager for robotics (m/w/d). Founded in 2014 as a subsidiary of DHL Group, it is our duty and passion to plan, procure and implement sorting systems for new DHL package centers as a manufacturer. Since then, in Obertshausen, Bremen, Bochum, Berlin Ludwigsfelde, Aschheim and Posen, we have built and commissioned six of the largest parcel centres in Europe in which up to 50,000 packages per hour can be sorted. You accompany feasibility studies, identify suitable partners on the market and set up a project to pilot a robotics application in our parcel centers. Tasks Strategic development of Robotics within DHL Sorting Center GmbH Implementation and support of feasibility studies for robot-assisted applications in sorting and logistics processes Market and technology research for identifying relevant trends, suppliers and innovations in robotics and automation Close cooperation with internal departments, external partners and start-ups to design and implement pilot projects Building a technology portfolio and discussing recommendations for action in close coordination with the management Head of an interdisciplinary project from idea to implementation Professional and personal requirements Complete degree in engineering, robotics, mechatronics, automation technology or comparable Multiannual experience in technical project management, ideally in an innovation-driven environment Knowledge of robotics systems (hardware & software), sensor technology, AI vision systems and industrial automation Industry overview in the field of robotics, automation and image processing desirable Ability to strategic analysis, concept development and implementation of complex technical projects Communication strength, innovative spirit and a high degree of self-initiative Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing What we offer In our team you will find great colleagues whose particular strength is their helpfulness and expertise.
