Tasks that keep you posted: Take responsibility, shape the future: design, implement and document demanding requirements for our Kafka platform and the entire event streaming ecosystem – and thus form the foundation of modern, data-driven products. Your expert knowledge makes the difference: build up modern integration systems, operate and optimize them reliably and ensure a stable, performant operation – with a clear focus on Apache Kafka. Engineering, the real impact has: Develop powerful internal tools, automations and platform services in Go and help teams work more efficiently and faster. Together: Work closely with product teams, engineering and other stakeholders and actively bring your ideas into our agile environment. Operational Excellence: Oversized second and third-level support, analyzes complex disorders, raise causes sustainably and conduct deep performance and capacity analyses. Technical orientation: Support teams through clear architecture guidelines, best practices and sound Kafka administration – and become an estimated technical point of contact. Ensure stability: share our readiness and help ensure the reliable operation of a business-critical platform around the clock.

Features that make you feel: Deep knowledge of the Kafka architecture (Brokers, Topics, Partitions, Replication, KRaft, Controller-Quorum and Internal Mechanisms). Practical experience in installation, configuration, scaling and operation of Kafka clusters in production environments. Understanding topic management, partitioning strategies, replication concepts and performance optimization. Safe handling of the Kafka‐CLI tools. Professional experience in Go programming, ideally in the field of platform engineering, backend services, infrastructure tools or automation.
