The Bridge – Association for the Promotion of Reintegration mentally ill e. V. was founded in Hamburg in 1964. In the same year the association built the Psychiatric Clinic Häcklingen near Lüneburg.

Over many decades, the bridge from this site marked the development of social-psychiatric and community-based psychoatarian reform in the Northeast Lower Saxony region. This happened in 1976, inter alia, through the establishment of the social psychiatric service in Uelzen. That was a model project and a nationwide pioneer.

With its 12 locations in the region of Uelzen and Lüchow-Dannenberg, the outpatient, semi-stationary and stationary facilities provide more than 8,000 patients each year.

The aim is to continuously adapt the consulting, care and participation services to the needs of clients in the sense of a modern and modern health policy. You take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of the multi-professional team and actively promote the further development of your employees. You are responsible for the psychiatric and psychotherapeutic treatment of patients:inside, You provide high-quality, guideline-oriented care. You supervise assistant physicians:inside and psychologist:inside in their clinical work and regularly conduct case meetings. You maintain close interdisciplinary cooperation with other disciplines and external cooperation partners.

You are a specialist:in psychiatry and psychotherapy or are close to completing your training. Their work is characterized by openness for various therapy procedures and well-founded experience in clinical group work. As a communication-strong and empathic personality, you promote a collegial team spirit and interdisciplinary cooperation. You have the pleasure of taking responsibility for your team as well as your patient: both inside and bring the first management experience. You communicate in English (C1 level) in word and writing.
