Number: MER0003ZKR Become part of our innovative team in the field of chassis development at Mercedes-Benz AG. In our Hamburg plant we produce axles and axle components for a variety of our series. Our team is responsible for the development of axle components – from the first idea to prototype construction to the successful conversion to series production. As an intern, you work directly with the project management and get deep insights into the early phase of forward-looking product projects. Here you can optimally translate your theoretical knowledge from a technical, economic or management program into practice and gain valuable experience. Your exciting tasks in detail: Strategic decision-making: cooperation in the preparation of decision-making templates for future product projects that make the course for production in our plant

Method development: Support in the development and implementation of new methodological approaches to optimizing our development processes using intelligent analysis and optimization tools

Technical coordination: active coordination of technical topics with internal and external partners

Communication & Reporting: Creating meaningful presentations and status reports for different stakeholders

Network & Interfaces: Cross-disciplinary work with multiple interfaces inside and outside the plant – get to know the complexity of a global company

Project cooperation & relationship management: active participation in workshops on solution finding and support in supplier and customer management to ensure smooth processes
