Senior System Engineer for Network & Infrastructure (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced:n System Engineer that supports our customers in designing future-oriented IT infrastructures. With us, you work at the interface of classic IT, cloud, automation and AI, taking full technical responsibility from conception to operation.

• You design, implement and optimise challenging network and firewall infrastructures, especially in the Sophos environment. - You are responsible for IT infrastructure projects from requirement analysis and solution architecture to implementation and transfer to stable operation. - You continue to explore and develop Microsoft-based system landscapes, in particular Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and Active Directory. - You analyze complex technical disorders, perform root-cause analyses and take responsibility in technical escalations. - You advise customers at eye level and support sales in technical concepts, customer discussions, cost estimates and offers.

• You have at least five years relevant professional experience as a system engineer, network engineer or in a comparable infrastructure role. - You have profound knowledge in the planning, implementation and support of professional network and firewall infrastructures. - You have practical experience with Sophos firewalls or comparable enterprise firewall solutions as well as routing, switching, VLAN, VPN and WLAN. - You bring broad knowledge in the Microsoft environment, especially in Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory and Windows-based system landscapes. - You understand yourself as an infrastructure generalist and take responsibility for adjacent cloud, security and system topics. Team You start with our IT Operations team and work closely with experienced System Engineers, Consultants and our Customer-Success colleagues. Together, their sophisticated customer environments – from central to large companies – focus on network, security, cloud, Microsoft 365 and managed services.
