The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a well-known aid organisation and a free, non-profit body of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees. The SOS Children's Village Schwerin offers children and adolescents, as well as their families and relatives different offers of support in the field of education. In Schwerin we are in the field of outpatient and stationary aids for education. At the SOS Children's Village of Schwerin we are looking for a moment Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, full-time or part-time (min. 25 - max. 38.5 hours/Where.)Â In our children's centre, we offer up to six children aged 0 to 10 years of age a safe, loving and structured habitat after experiencing traumatic or highly stressful situations. The aim of our work is to give the children a first arrival, to give them emotional security and to professionally accompany them in a sensitive transition phase. You work in a dedicated team of about 15 colleagues in the 3-shift system. Our working day is characterized by mutual appreciation, professional exchange, openness and a deep common understanding of the needs of children entrusted to us. You have completed training as a social education assistant or a comparable educational qualification You bring educational experience in the care and support of children with stressful or traumatic experiences with You are characterized by a high emotional presence, good observation and excellent reflectivity Your pedagogical attitude is characterized by value support, mindfulness and respect – against the children, their source systems and your colleagues You are team-oriented, reliable and bring themselves into everyday life with commitment, sense of responsibility and creative ideas You are ready to work in shiftwork and see in it a chance for intensive relationship work and continuity Your handling of the area and distance is professional, reflected and oriented to the welfare of the child
