Technical product designer in ship design (focus on general plans) (m/f/d)

In the course of further growth, we are currently building an additional team to support our existing organization. In this position, you support the development of demanding ship projects for the German contractor. You create precise general plans and 3D models, coordinate closely with interdisciplinary project teams and help to optimally implement technical requirements designally and functionally. Your tasks at a glance: You create and model general plans for overwater vehicles (boats and ships) by converting technical requirements, functional relationships and design aspects into precise 2D and 3D representations. Conceptual specifications and project-specific boundary conditions are implemented in designs that ensure a coherent arrangement and integration of all relevant ship components. In close coordination with interdisciplinary project teams, you continuously develop plan stands and ensure that technical changes are incorporated correctly and comprehensible. Existing drawings analyze and rework independently, adapt them to new requirements and consistently respect norm- and regulatory execution. You introduce your experience in the further development of methods and standards in the draft general plan, support optimization projects and promote innovative approaches in the graphical implementation.

(m/w/d) or a comparable technical qualification Multiannual professional experience (approximately 2-5 years) in a constructive environment, ideally in shipbuilding or in the maritime industry Very good user knowledge in 3D modeling software, preferably Siemens NX Safe handling of standard drawings and technical documentation requirements Ideally knowledge of relevant marine building regulations, standards and standards as well as experience in the maritime environment or in the German Navy Basic knowledge of requirements management (e.g. IBM DOORS) Structured and careful working, strong technical understanding and team skills German language skills and safe handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
