You take over the leadership of the Department of Life Mathematics. You lead your areas clearly, bindingly and team-oriented and ensure effective cooperation in the department and outside. You control the key indicators of life insurance (result, surplus, risk, capital) according to HGB and Solvency II. You prepare sound analyses, develop measures and prepare decision-making documents for enterprise management. You design products, processes and systems end to end – from product idea to final and decision-making to efficient, digital inventory and operation processes. You reduce complexity, improve customer and business processes and drive process optimization actively. In close cooperation with the business side and IT, You manage the project portfolio for life and help to develop the technical concept, taking into account architectural and service aspects. You are responsible for project support and support SV's strategic initiatives. You involve market and sales impulses in the work close to actuary and thus strengthen the product and market-oriented development of the business. You ensure the implementation of life insurance-specific regulatory requirements and control corresponding projects. You actively participate in planning, committee and control circuits and establish clear, analytically sound positions. You consistently lead to changes, promote a culture of clear acceptance of responsibility and create framework conditions in which managers and employees take responsibility for common results.

You are happy to take responsibility for a complex, company-relevant control panel and act confidently in exchange with departments, executives and bodies. You make decisions clear and timely, address conflicts constructively and ensure the quality of results through consistent control. You work openly, constructively and team-oriented – with a clear, addressable communication style and high social competence. You have several years of professional and management experience in the environment of life insurance or adjacent control, product, finance or operations. You have well-founded knowledge of HGB and Solvency II relationships as well as experience in the economic management of complex business areas. You bring strong end-to-end and process understanding and can translate technical requirements into stable, efficient processes and IT support. You have a strong integration and cutting-point competence and are safely moving between expertise, control, operations and IT. You think entrepreneurial, analytic and structured and keep both operational details and strategic lines in mind. You have successfully completed university studies with analytical, financial or quantitative emphasis; a scientific deepening or further qualification can support analytical and strategic competence. A DAV qualification is welcome and is required for the acceptance of functions: for the cable function itself, if the relevant key roles are organisationally secured. You motivate employees, promote their development and actively use the knowledge of your teams for the further development of the SV.
