Cloud & Security Administrator – Microsoft Azure & M365 (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the administration, monitoring and continuous further development of our Microsoft Azure and M365 environment, including the security solutions used, and ensure the smooth and safe operation of our IT infrastructure through suitable care, monitoring and maintenance concepts, as well as the processing of security-relevant incidents. You analyze complex and contradictory requirements and develop innovative and tailor-made solutions. You use new technologies and tools in the system environment. You take control and coordination of internal and external partners and ensure that all stakeholders work together efficiently to achieve the project objectives. You define the requirements for our systems and processes that arise from ongoing operation and quality assurance and derive necessary optimization measures. You plan and implement complex IT projects and, if necessary, take the lead of subprojects to ensure the successful introduction and further development of our IT solutions. You continuously develop and implement planning, control and monitoring systems as well as standards that contribute to the continuous optimization of the operating processes.

You have a successfully completed degree in computer science, business informatics, engineering or a comparable qualification. You bring at least 5 years of professional experience in IT, ideally in IT operations. You have a well-founded experience in the administration and development of Microsoft Azure and M365 environments and you are well aware of Azure Security and Microsoft Defender Suite. You are well familiar with managing identities and permissions in Microsoft Entra ID (former Azure Active Directory) as well as with cloud security concepts such as Conditional Access and Multi-Factor authentication. You have a good understanding of common threat scenarios and attack vectors in cloud environments and can derive appropriate security measures from them. You have good knowledge of the automation of administrative tasks, such as PowerShell, and have ideally already gained experience in building and managing Azure Landing Zones as part of an enterprise-scale architecture. You can ideally present relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate or Security Administrator Associate. You are characterized by a pronounced solution and target orientation and are proactively addressing challenges to develop efficient and sustainable solutions. You have excellent organizational skills and work highly efficiently by structuring tasks, setting priorities and continuously opting for work processes. You have an excellent communication and customer orientation: You go to the needs of the customers, communicate clearly and offer competent and solution-oriented advice at any time. You communicate clearly and convincingly, adapt your messages to different target groups and promote an open and constructive exchange through your communicative competence.
