Chief Operating Officer - Logistik DACH-Region (m/f/d)

Your tasks: Overall responsibility for the operational business processes in the logistics sector of the DACH region, with a consistent focus on efficiency enhancement, first-class service quality and maximum customer satisfaction Strategic development of the logistics organisation taking into account regional market requirements and international best practices and corporate standards Continuous optimization of existing processes and implementation of innovative, future-oriented solutions to increase performance and cost efficiency Leadership, motivation and further development of cross-functional teams in operations, technology and supply chain - in an international, multicultural environment Ensuring compliance with all quality, safety and environmental standards within the logistics value chain throughout the DACH region Building, maintaining and expanding strategic partnerships with relevant customers, suppliers and other stakeholders - regionally and internationally Responsibility for operational reporting, budget planning and KPI-based performance management for targeted management of corporate and growth targets

Your profile: Successfully completed university studies in the field of logistics, business management, economic engineering or equivalent qualification Multiannual relevant professional experience in leadership within the fields of logistics, supply chain or operations; Experience in the DACH region is advantageous Detectable competence in the strategic and operational control of complex logistics and supply chain processes Experience in managing and developing multicultural and cross-functional teams (e.g. in operations and technology) Impressed analytical and conceptual skills as well as a high level of decision-making and implementation competence in the context of the transferred areas of responsibility Found industry knowledge in 3PL, contract logistics and international supply chains as well as a current understanding of relevant market trends and technologies Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing required to perform the tasks readiness to regularly travel within the DACH region
