The Department of Law and Purchasing is responsible for dealing with all legal issues arising from the function as an upper state road construction authority and as an employer of almost 3,000 employees. Your tasks include: In-house consulting in all emerging legal matters, in particular in administrative and procurement law, building contract law and general civil and contract law Perform court proceedings and extrajudicial representation of the Land of Hesse Active design and implementation of training events Participation in internal and nationwide working and specialist groups Development, examination and further development of opinions and other written preparations Ensure a timely processing of all processes and reliable perception of internal and external dates

Successfully completed first and second state exams Possibly knowledge or professional experience in at least one of the above mentioned legal areas or for starters (w/m/d) Embossed understanding of technical and legal relationships Safe handling of MS Office applications Very good oral and written expressability in German (comparable level C1) High team capacity and joy in cooperation in interdisciplinary teams A structured and efficient way of working Reliable time and date management as well as the ability to work responsibly and accurately under time pressure Communication and negotiation skills in dealing with internal and external contacts Responsible and independent tasks readiness to actively participate in the positive appearance of a modern, performance-oriented and citizen-friendly administration The activity is associated with missions, the driving licence class B is therefore required
