In this responsible position, you contribute significantly to ensuring the functional reliability of operational and safety systems along the federal motorways. You are responsible for commissioning, supervision, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of technical installations in the field of operating and traffic technology. This includes, in particular, the implementation of fault analyses as well as the systematic limitation and localization of disturbances with subsequent elimination. Another focus of your activity is to carry out measurements on technical facilities and to ensure trouble-free operation of various systems. These include systems of radio technology, remote control technology/ transmission systems, telephony and air conditioning technology as well as road condition and weather information systems. In the field of tunneling and traffic engineering, you also take on important tasks in operational operation and maintenance. In addition, you are responsible for maintaining and updating the technical inventory documentation. You update overview, current, schematic, switching and ranking plans after extensions or changes and evaluate relevant technical data.

You have a successfully completed vocational training as an electronic or electronic technician for industrial engineering or bring comparable qualifications, expertise and practical experience. You have pronounced craft skills, in particular in the fields of information and communication technology, operating technology and radio technology. In addition, you have well-founded knowledge in radio technology, in particular in the handling of vehicle and handheld radios as well as corresponding application software. Safe handling of relevant technical regulations and regulations is required. These include, among other things, the guidelines for securing workstations on roads (RSA), relevant DIN and VDE standards, the guidelines for interchangeable traffic signs (RWVZ/RWVA), the technical delivery conditions for route stations (TLS) and other relevant standards and regulations, for example from the fields of transport technology, IT security and occupational safety.

That would be desirable: Ideally, you will bring additional knowledge to the operational safety regulation. Basic knowledge of HTML programming as well as knowledge in network technology are advantageous. Furthermore, experience in the field of programming technology and in the handling of CAD software solutions such as EPLAN, S-Plan or ALLPLAN are desirable.
