As Product Compliance Expert (m/w/d), you contribute significantly to ensuring product compliance according to European and international legislation. Your range of tasks is diverse and includes: Responsible for the testing and evaluation of machinery and equipment in relation to legal requirements and applicable conformity requirements (e.g. NAWI, MID, ATEX, REACH, RoHs, Packaging, WEEE ...) Preparing and accompanying EU type-examinations with the focus on weighing technology (NAWI and MID) as well as according to the ATEX directive with the respective Notified Body Accompanying new and existing developments in close cooperation with our product developers Responsible for authorisations outside the EU (EAC, Kosha, PESO...) Participation in internal (supplier) audits, recertification and monitoring audits as part of the QM system according to ATEX, NAWI and MID Directive Training and advice for employees with regard to norm-related product requirements and legal requirements Regular exchange with internal and external stakeholders and with national and international audit bodies and regulatory authorities Observing legal requirements and standards and their impact on our products

Complete studies with the field of mechanical engineering or mechatronics or a comparable technical qualification First experience in dealing with regulations, directives and standards (such as Machine Directive, ATEX, RoHs, REACH, Battery Regulation, Packaging Regulation, etc.) and experience with conformity assessment procedures for product release Affinity for handling technical and legal documents Willingness to take responsibility and take own initiative Safe occurrence paired with good communication and team skills Very good German and good English skills are necessary Int. readiness to travel is a prerequisite (10-15%)
