Capital income tax Place of work: Frankfurt am Main Job: Full-time (part-time is possible in principle), unlimited Job ID: 2025_1188_02 In order to fulfil the monetary policy tasks of the Bundesbank, we manage securities and conduct collateral accounts of the German business partners, securities deposits for credit institutions and for other customer groups. Together with your team, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the field of capital returns and/or Source tax resulting from the special role of Bundesbank customers.

You take over the organisational and personnel construction of the newly established tax team for the capital income tax within the Bundesbank. As team management, you coordinate and control all activities of the Bundesbank on the subject of capital income tax and, through your work, ensure the Federal Bank's capital income tax compliance. With your tax expertise, you are a competent person for the operational work units. In addition, you will follow relevant changes in the law and, in cooperation with the departmental teams and other work units, ensure their implementation in the Bundesbank. You also perform the tasks of a Responsible Officer for US Source Tax.

Master or equivalent degree of economics (preferably with a focus on tax/economic examination or a comparable subject) or law; an additional qualification in tax law or tax advice is advantageous Ideally at least two years of relevant professional experience Very good knowledge of securities law, German capital income tax and foreign (especially European) source taxes including the existing double taxation agreements Very good knowledge of US source tax regulations, in particular of QI regulations (IRS regulations, FATCA) Good knowledge of national and international clearing and settlement of securities Impressed leadership skills and ideal experience in building teams Very good analytical and conceptual skills Impressive cooperation capability Very good communication skills in German and English
