You are responsible for the strategic management and continuous development of enterprise architecture management as well as the technical management of an interdepartmental team of IT architects. You define methods and specifications, ensure the quality of the IT architecture across the division in accordance with the corporate strategy and represent the HZD in bodies, transnational working groups and specialist meetings. You design forward-looking IT strategies and architectures to drive the digital transformation and create an efficient, flexible IT landscape in the Land of Hesse.

You have a completed relevant scientific higher education of computer science or a comparable degree course or you have comparable knowledge. You bring many years of experience in enterprise architecture management and various leading and strategic or planning IT positions. You have comprehensive, detailed knowledge of processes and standard frameworks (TOGAF, COBIT, Zachmann) of enterprise architecture management as well as comprehensive knowledge of the levels of IT architectures (assessment, application, data and technology architecture). In addition, you have a comprehensive overview of current technologies, particularly in the area of cloud architecture. Ideally, you have several years of experience in the construction and execution of the Hessian administration as well as the principles of administrative trading and are able to align the IT architecture according to strategic requirements. You are analytical, planned and targeted at difficult and complex tasks and bring them to a successful conclusion.
