With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest providers of premium and luxury cars and vans. The Rastatt plant is the competence center for the compact vehicle models of Mercedes-Benz. As part of the production network, our team in Rastatt and Kuppenheim manufactures essential parts of the vehicle body. Construction groups for the vehicle body are produced from numerous press parts using various joining methods. A fully automated production with a variety of robots offers an exciting environment for an internship in the automotive environment. The raw construction production in the Rastatt plant part and the raw construction production in Kuppenheim are used. This offers the opportunity to get to know two production sites. These challenges include: Conducting and implementing own projects to optimize production in terms of cycle time and plant availability

Participation in the production implementation of the next generation of vehicles

Analysis of production data and use of big data for intelligent optimization of production processes

Preparation and participation in workshops with partner areas for presenting solutions for production-relevant issues

Participation in problem solving processes, employee training and certifications

The activity can begin from March 2026.

Study programme in the field of mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, economics or comparable engineering studies

Secure knowledge of German in word and writing
