IT Software Developer – ABAP, SAP FS-CD & S/4HANA (m/f/d)

Welcome to the VPV! As IT Software Developer (m/w/d) – ABAP, SAP FS-CD & S/4HANA, you are actively contributing to the further development of our SAP system landscape. Your specialist focus is on SAP FS-CD. If you do not yet have comprehensive knowledge in this area, we will support you with a structured and practical integration. In addition, you will accompany the preparation and implementation of our S/4HANA transformation and gradually take on more responsibility for technical topics, projects and innovative solutions. This position can be performed on site, hybrid or remotely.

You take over the design, development, testing, documentation and maintenance of SAP applications with a focus on SAP FS-CD using ABAP and ABAP OO. As part of the S/4HANA transformation, you actively participate in the preparation and implementation by analyzing, evaluating and adapting existing developments and customer-specific extensions (Custom Code). The design and development of complex interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems is also part of your responsibility. In close cooperation with the departments, you implement SAP development tasks in different projects and actively contribute to their design. In addition, you evaluate new SAP technologies and support the continuous modernization of our development landscape. Through an active exchange of knowledge and experience within our SAP Competence Center, you contribute to the further development of the team and to the sustainable securing of know-how.

A completed study of economic informatics, computer science or comparable training forms the basis of your qualification. Good knowledge of SAP development with ABAP and ABAP OO will bring you with you. Ideally, you could gain practical experience in the environment of SAP FS-CD; Knowledge of other SAP financial solutions is advantageous. Experiences from S/4HANA transformation projects or from the preparation of SAP systems for an S/4HANA migration complete your professional profile. You are familiar with the handling of customer-specific developments as well as the analysis and adaptation of User Exits, BAdIs and Enhancements. Knowledge of modern SAP technologies such as CDS Views, SAP HANA, Fiori, SAPUI5 or RAP are desirable and complement your know-how ideally. Personally, you are characterized by an analytical and self-responsive way of working, a high sense of responsibility, and the willingness to continue developing professionally and technologically.
