For the data point we are looking for several Senior Administrator (m/w/div) Location: Würzburg administrative location Date of entry: Immediate Application deadline: 07.02.2026 Call number: 05-087-2025 Employment: Full time (part time is possible in principle) Remuneration: E12 TV EntgO-DRV Activity The “IT-operation” area at the Würzburg site operates and monitors the entire IT infrastructure and all IT procedures of the Pension Insurance (DSRV) data centre and central services for all pension insurance institutions. The Team Community Services provides collaboration tools such as Confluence and Jira for the entire German pension insurance. As a Senior Atlassian Administrator*in, you are responsible as part of the administration team for the safe and stable operation and the further development of the central Jira and Confluence instances for the employees of the German Pension Insurance.

Design and control the use of Atlassian products and collaboration platforms Implement, provide and develop existing IT services Monitor the IT systems used and the IT services, including the associated error analysis and troubleshooting Cross-cutting consulting and support for projects, teams and areas of expertise with regard to applications and application scenarios of Atlassian products Developing, managing and carrying out project work in close cooperation with pension insurance institutions (above all) Participating in regular maintenance work to be ensured by the team (outside the regular working hours (SOA), for example in the evening and/or weekends) Control, create, maintain and update documentation on Atlassian tools, user manuals and troubleshooting tips

A completed vocational training in the IT sector or a higher education (Bachelor, Diplom FH) in the IT sector, such as, for example, business informatics or a comparable qualification (for example, specialist) in the IT sector, or a comparable practical experience relevant to tasks in the IT sector Multiannual IT experience, ideally with the installation, configuration or adaptation of Atlassian products (Jira or Confluence) Experience in working with Linux operating systems, ideally RHEL or related distributions Knowledge and practical experience in scripting (for example with Shell, Python, JCL) as well as SQL knowledge in relevant tools and languages (for example, Ansible, Groovy or similar) Required knowledge about REST interfaces for communication between web applications Practical experience in monitoring (Checkmk, Instana) as well as in project management and design German language skills in word and writing and very good English skills A high level of decision-making competence, strong communication skills, team skills and openness to innovations complete your profile
